    Need part number for Mitsubishi R1500 glow plug

    Does anyone have a part number for a Mitsubishi R1500 tractor glow plug. I damaged mine by accident/stupidity. I can fit a different glow plug with an adapter (not sure I can find that though) Would be best if I could get a replacement the right size. Thanks, Al

    Mitsubishi R1500 single cylinder diesel injector pump issue

    Found the solution. Turns out this motor is much more common on boats. Here is a link for anyone dealing with issues. It describes how to rebuild and align the injector pump. :) Yanmar fuel injection pump repair! Sailing Exodos, ep.39

    Agreed. But I have no way of knowing without a manual or even an image of how the governor interfaces to the injector pump. I have also read that if the injector pump is out of time (by 180 degrees I guess) that it could be the issue. But I have no breakdown of the injector pump, so not sure...

    I recently purchased a Mitsubishi R1500. It is a single cylinder diesel. It has set for many years without running. I got it to run but it only runs at full throttle. I have pulled the injector/pump and it seems to be functioning right, i.e. when the slide is moved back and forth it rotates...
