    Small baler

    Got a Hesston 540. Nice simple baler to operate and a hay eating machine. Makes bales from 2x4 up to 4x4. Pull it with a 275 or a 265 and unless the hay is super thick, don't hardly notice its back there. On the 4x4 size as the chamber gets close to full you can feel it pull the rpms down...

    275 multipower linkage

    It seems like the multipower linkage that goes thru the top of trans housing has become disconnected from multipower valve. When you disconnect the linkage it feels like the hook isn't hooked to anything. Looks like I could access the valve if I take the cover off the transmission. Is this...

    Multipower

    Sounds promising then as it worked fine before the rod came unhooked. Reason I suspect the rod is earlier that year I had some trans work done on that required removing the cover. Judging by what I see in the service manual I think they forgot to put a cotter pin back in... BTW how hard is it...
