Ford 650 Question

I found this broken part in the gunk in the bell housing while cleaning it out. Does anyone have an idea what this is? Thanks.

The cylinder sleeves need to be replaced. Does anyone know where I can get a tool to knock out the old ones? I'm thinking about making one because it's pretty straight forward but if I can buy one it saves me time. The last time I rebuilt an engine the sleeves were ok so didn't need the tool...

Jim, the photos are very helpful. Thanks for posting them. One dumb question, do I need to drain the fluid before taking out the transmission input shaft?

Rebuilding engine on a Ford 650. With the engine removed I can see a significant amount of hydraulic fluid in the bottom of the transmission bell housing. Which oil seals might need to be replaced to repair this? Thanks for help.

Ford 600 Throttle Linkage

I am trying to find out how to adjust the throttle linkage on my Ford 600. I rebuilt the carb and it appears to me that the linkage needs to be adjusted in order to gain more rpms at full speed. I can"t find any reference to adjusting the linkage in my shop manual. Can someone help?
