    I had one go out in about 8 years. There isn't much to them, just a piece of thin metal with ends and bulbs. The ones I use for grow lights get moved around and I figured more than one would have quit by now, but they are still going.

    Bringing up this old one just to see if someone has an answer to satisfy my curiosity. Last year I bought a 135 and didn't notice any leaking signs anywhere. Mowed 6-8 hrs and had a leak at the PTO shaft and replaced the seal. While it was empty I changed the hyd filter and filled her back up...

    Brush killers

    That is the best thing I've found to kill the woody stuff. Privet, wisteria, honeysuckle and any hardwoods that sprout back up where I've cleared areas and fence rows.
