Thank you Powered by IH, I'm not sure but Mike mentioned that it is hydrostatic. No it does not grind gears, when I start the tractor, starts well but after putting in gear, it does not move for a bit and then start moving very very slowly and then move few feet and comes to stop. at full RPM...- baazfarms

Hi MN, yes I have o use clutch to move hi/lo, clutch works fine. I have to admit I'm not very familiar with lingo but I would consider moderate with my mechanical ability although I didn't grow up in this atmosphere. No offense taken, I agree with your Youtube observation and I'm one of those...- baazfarms

Hello All I have 1974 IH574, it does not move or moves very slowly for a few feet and stops. AT full RPM, it moves slightly better and further. PTO, bucket, 3 point all work fine.
