8n Oil Pressure
I didn't get the tractor up to operating temperature since i don't have my cooling system hooked up. It was about -1° F yesterday so i don't know if that would influence the the reading with the oil being so cold. So i only ran the tractor for about 30 seconds. So I got the new spring in place today and I'm getting 30psi oil pressure at startup. If I compare this one with the one i had before i would this one takes about half the effort ro compress compared to the first i had. Do you think 30psi oil pressure? Hi guys I got the spring and plunger in place and the oil pressure is way to high the gauge maxes out at 50psi and the pressure is way past the 50psi mark. So my guess is that the spring is too stiff? Any idea where i can get a better spring, I got mine from this site and it says Denis...- Baraboo13

8n Oil Pressure
I'm only getting about 10psi at start up on my 8n on a rebuilt engine. First I had issues with low compression and the issue ended up being that the crankshaft was not timed properly with the camshaft, some good fellas from the forum helped me figure that out. Priming rebuilt motor 8n
Hello all, Just hijacking the tread because I have the same issue with a rebuilt engine. I have only about 10 psi of oil pressure, If I remove the oil line at the gauge and I start the tractor I get a steady flow of oil, is not a lot of oil but it flows consistent. Den, Wondering if you can help me with another issue. Can't get my tractor to run
Dell The gauge showed zero oil pressure so I think that gauge is bad, I have a new one on the way. Yeah I was busy today I also had to plow snow and take a load of firewood to the house, thank you again Sir- Baraboo13
