Florida Solar panels questions
I am in Michigan, have had a system for about 8 months now, and it was totally worth doing. There are some caveats though. In my opinion it is only worth doing if you can do it yourself. The quotes from solar companies for my system ranged from 45-68k. I did it myself for 11k. And I own it... -

Ford 4000 steering cylinder
You should just need a pick, seal puller, or a slide hammer and screw to get the ram seal out. The rod doesn’t come out unless you cut the welds. -

Transporting a 3000 trans and rear end
I bought a rear end/transmission/axles for a 3000. I didn’t want to haul a trailer the distance to get them. The rear axle is too wide to fit between the insides of the bed, so I made a little cribbing to hold the trans off the bed rail. It fits in this way pretty nicely. -

3500 rear end problem
Well I pulled the top cover. The gear looks ok. The input bearing at first looked rusty, but actually it feels like old hardened grease. I found a crack that has been poorly welded. And I found another poorly welded crack in the bottom of the housing that leaks fluid. At this point I may just... -

Points for a 3500
Is there a quality set of points available for a 3500 industrial? I believe it is the same engine as the 3000. I don't mind paying more for a quality brand that can actually open up for the correct gap and the contacts are aligned nicely. -

3 pt still drifts down after repair?
I know what you mean by “new parts” the safety relief was a pain since it was an 18mm instead of 11/16”, I of course didn’t have a 18mm stubby wrench.
