    NC says Rise + Run should = 18" or 18 1/2" If you use 7" rise with 9 1/4" treads, you should be right on the money. Might be asking for unwanted trips with first step higher.

    Did soak one in penetratin' oil then tied one end to a tree, the other to the tractor. Worked, but I don't advise it.

    Had to bring in the last of the bell peppers. Some of these are big as a coffee cup. Should make for good eatin" from the freezer this winter. Did get one lil mater that went well with supper.

    How to secure a new building to an old concrete slab?

    Have you ever heard of these? http://www.concretefasteners.com/anchors-fasteners/tapcon-screw/pricing.aspx?gclid=CKaxraaf-rICFUGK4AodZVUA3g Tapcon fasteners. Drill with regular drill or hammer drill, screw in through plate into concrete. Simiple, quick, not terribly expensive.

    dave2, Dr. asked me what I do with stress in my job. Told him I don"t keep it, I give it away. He looked funny and asked "how that was?" Every time I get behind some Floridiot on these mountain roads, I scream at them out the open window and give them the stress.

    The "Dumpsters" here won't let you pick. Everything goes off the back of the truck/trailor and then over the edge of the platform into a trailor below. They have a BIG loader sitting just off the ramp waiting for you to leave so they can push it in.

    Usually only when I can't crawl around all the junk or SWMBO decides its time. We've just about reached that point again. Got too much in too little space. BTW been using three drawer chest, old stereo cabinet, file cabinet and milk boxes for tool boxes for years.
