861 Power steering cylinder small leak-rebuild or replace?

8 volts and starter switch
If you have the original 3 brush generator the battery is what regulates the output voltage of the generator and it should charge the 8 volt battery just fine. Bob -

Ford 641 starter solenoid
That solenoid has a grounded base and needs a hot wire to the S terminal to engage, you need a solenoid with an insulated base to use the start button on the transmission. Bob -
