    Oliver 770 clutch problems

Bingo! Earlier I noticed the hole in the rear shaft where that bolt is supposed to go it wallowed out so I moved it over a couple teeth and turned the bolt into a groove and bam straight as an arrow...

    Oliver 770 clutch problems

The pto drive is not normally in it. I only put it in to test a theory.

    Oliver 770 clutch problems

I stripped the pto off before any of this but today I experimented by putting it back in either way it still does it. I'm going to tear it back apart tomorrow and go through the carrier.

    Oliver 770 clutch problems

I'm having issues with my clutch chattering. Replaced my friction and my throwout bearing but now I see my drive shaft is still not running true. Sometimes when I let out on the clutch it's ok and other times it is so far out of alignment. What am I missing? Is it because I have the pto removed...

    Oliver 770 clutch problems

It's good. It's not making the noise like there's a bearing out. It's like the carrier is the problem

    Oliver 770 clutch problems

My transmission clutch has been chattering. I narrowed it down to a cracked inner bearing race on the throwout bearing. I replaced it and went back together with it. I have stripped the pto and hydraulics off as I pull it. But now my whole assembly still chatters but in a sort of different way...

    880 OLIVER RPM'S PULLING

    50 or e5

I'm in need of a question answered. My dad has a... Well er... That's the question. He bought it as supposedly a 50 deluxe. However as he was screwed by other lies and as more and more orange come through we wanted to check the serial number. He was told that it wasn't eventhe right year to be...

    oliver 77 w/64 ford inline 6

A 283 would probably make more like 70-80 but have a decent torque curve. It be great for a wagon toter.

    56 40 deluxe

If it runs good I'd estimate depending on paint, number verification, probably $2000 - $2500. deluxes are hard to come by and like I said if its a true deluxe its very collectable. I may be on the high side but its not totally unreasonable.

1st production Oliver Super 66 value

Depends where you're located mostly. I don't know if you mean first year or what. But around me here in Michigan you don't get much for any Oliver that's not either a puller or workhorse. If its absolutely mint with a glass finish on the paint job and brand new tires you might see 5 or 6...
