    truck talk?- you engineer types

    mufflers on my C65 dump truck are home made out of 6"x 3/16 x 3' pipe with 1/8 plate end caps...inlet and outlets are 3" pipe...no baffles...not loud either...just a nice mellow tone out of that 454.

    you got a portable air tank...use a blow gun to empty hose and leave it there.

    Vinegar Radiator Cleaner?

    i've used 10% vinegar and filled cooling system to the top...let it soak overnite and ran it next day for about an hour or until engine overheats...results have been so-so...if its just mineral deposits the vinegar does ok...for an older farm tractor,theres a chance of dirty water being added...

    Fungus in fuel?

    algae is nothing new...had algae in a fuel tank on a crewboat i useta run back in the mid 70's...almost got nailed by a waterspout about 60 miles offshore when filters plugged...we were fixin to abandon ship when the spout turned...there was plenty sulphur in fuel back then.

    you can check with The Alamo Group...i think they wound with Servis.

    hamburg plow works plow shares

    you can answer your own question with a grinder...somewhere on the back of the share just run a grinding wheel enuff to see sparks...if they are dull red its cast...if more of a brite white its steel.
