Dropped dead
So i pulled the distributor, yanked out the Pertronix, put in new base plate, found a coil on the shelf, new points and condenser and she fired. She's back and running. Thank you all!- beerbaker9

Dropped dead
I have a 49 8N, fresh rebuilt engine. Was mowing the pasture the other day and it just quit. No sputter, no warning. It has 12V neg ground wiring kit, Pertronix points delete, all stock after that. Acts like no spark condition. Has anyone had Pertronix go out? Any way to test coil...- beerbaker9
