    Just fix it you will never be sorry. I have brought back to life a few that were in a lot worse shape than that one. My wife told me one day that I was insane to bring home a junk pile and get it running.

    sealing a gas tank

    I have in the past have put a small chain about 24in long in the tank and then shake it back and forth to remove the rust. Rinse it out, let it dry out real good and pour in the plastic liner per instruction. 15years and still holding. Good Luck.

    Carb Flooding crankcase (Friends Tractor)

    Friend 1947 B is flooding. (1) Need to know what is the float clearance supposed to be in inches 3/8"-1/2"-5/8"? (2) What other problems could be causing this flooding?

    Make sure the wires are in the correct hole. may have been swap in the last 40 years by sightseers.

    I have may them before, just made one last week for my 720lp. Go to ACE Hardware store they have the fitting. Goggle up a ACE Hardware store near you.

    John Deere 630 pictures.

    I had and still do have a 720LP that was stuck BIG TIME, I had to pull the block out with the piston had to remove the insert caps from the crank, getting to the bolt on the crank was a bugger. Do not try to free the engine up by pulling it with truck or tractor you can damage rods. Good Luck...

    2 Cylinder JD PTO - Worthless??????

    I have never had a problem with the Live PTO on my JD 50 or JD 730. baled and bush hog with the 730 and only bush hog with the 50. Now if you turn to sharp with PTO equipment you may get some drive line chatter.

    John Deere 'D' Stuck Valve?

    I have unstuck a few just by getting a pair of channel lock pliers (water pump pliers) and getting hold of the end of the valve stem and twist it and it pop right out or in. may want to tap it with a small hammer to wake it up. Good luck.
