    here is our log splitter. it's an old flowtron that my in-laws bought sometime in the late 70's or early 80's i've repowered it with a 3.75 briggs after the 5.5 harbor freight clone broke a bone in my hand last year. splits anything i put on it within reason. no idea how many tons it is.

    i'll check it over again tomorrow for any numbers just to make sure i didn't miss anything. have to tally up everything and get some parts coming. thank you Royse! i'll keep everyone posted!

    i looked behind the carb with an inspection mirror, and i didn't find any brass tags. it does have marvel schebler cast into both sides of the float bowl, and the same words stamped into the mounting flange. thank you for the advice! :D
