Ford 5000 PTO Trash Contamination
Any other comments on this. I don't see anywhere else this black material could be coming from....- Bertram

Ford 5000 PTO Trash Contamination
I really don't know since bought it used 5 years ago. Brakes work but they do grab a bit. Any pointers on taking axle housings off- 1 at a time would be appreciated, I have cribbing and overhead lift Thanks for the replies....- Bertram

I have ford 5000 8 speed manual. The PTO valve/hose/filters/clutch assembly and shaft have all been replaced when I could not get it to stop slipping. I tried replacing just parts and pieces and that did not work. It engages and runs great except now I am getting trash and black residue in...- Bertram
