    You could repair the shaft two ways. First would be a bearing shaft repair kit wich consists of a sleeve that is pressed on over the worn section of the shaft to bring it back to the correct OD.     Why didnt you just fix it yourself? Bushings and brushes sould be available localy and your local parts store should be able to check the armature.

    Yes, nearly all bearings and seals are standard sizes. If you dont have a bearing distributor or outlet, even NAPA can measure your seal and get you the right one.
