    International 140 early or late

    Hello, Have a 1969 IH 140 serial # 40510, came in with alternator and 12v battery, but bracket was homemade for alt. Was wondering when the early and late models were seperated? Figure early was 6v and late was 12v ? Need to restore like factory. thanks in advance

    I am considering doing this as the diesel I have needs a complete rebuild is expensive. Any ideas on the few changes to be made or if someone has a gas engine available? I want to keep the machine as it has "shuttle shift hydraulics" . Thanks for time and info.
