    730 water pump

    I"m going to be changing out the waterpump on my 730D in a couple of days. It seems to be a fairly simple procedure, are there any suprises I should look out for?

    Pole shed from Menard's

    I designed a three car garage on their computer and they delivered it all at once (one truckload), every thing was as it was supposed to be and went together great, The blueprints were right on and material was good. Saved about 50%. That was twelve yrs. ago an it still looks good.

    No water, no fuel, no antifreeze, just oil and no oil in my hydraulic res. I think it is a seal. I think that is why JD uses 10-20wt oil for the hyd. so that in case of seal leaking it doesn't damage the engine. I'm not sure how big of a job it is to replace that seal. I guess I'll find out.

    first off my A is trying my patience and then I was going to start my 730D that I haven't used since fall, checked oil and had oil running out of my dipstick tube, drained oi from crankcase and got 4 1/2 gallons. no oil in hydraulics, hope it is just a seal. what do you think?

    it sounds like some gears are turning without any oil lubricating them

    The hydraulics are low. It sounds like gears turning and not being lubed. Seems to be coming from somewhere by the flywheel.

    it does it with the clutch engaged or disengaged both, I greased everything I could find. I pulled cover off of the flywheel and it was tight and no oil leaking, I think I checked the the oil in first reduction, not sure if I was in right place . Ordered a manual but haven't got it yet...

    IH-H carb

    I have a 46H that will only run with the choke about 1/4 of the way open. rebuilt carb and it is still the same. replaced fuel line, cleaned tank, new sediment bowl, still have to have choke open a little. Anybody have any helpfull ideas? Thanks!
