    Cold snow

    Got an inch of snow in the Twin Cities today, temp is finally up to ten degrees, so since we haven"t had much to play with I got the 8n out to push it off the driveway. I usually have problems with the carb freezing up below 30 or so degrees. Today I wrapped some tinfoil around it and covered...

    replaciong metal on my manure spreader

    Use an angle grinder to cut an X in the top of the rivet head and then an air chisel to knock the head off.

    another suprise

    I cleaned only a quarter inch of mud from the bottom of the oil bath air cleaner on my 1950 8n, wiped it all nice and clean, put in fresh 30w oil, and had it run all over the floor. The mud was covering up several pin holes that had rusted through the bottom. So far the JB weld is holding nicely.
