    If it is truly an f30 on full steel, and wheels are in good shape, its worth $800+. I don't care what kind of shape the tractor is in. The steel wheels alone will bring more then that.

    Correct. Use an inverted plug. Allen drive or 3/8" square that your ratchet fits into.

    Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Ultimately duals are what id like to have for this tractor. I have a new fetish for dual on row crop tractors. I was just talking to another guy about them. Thats a shame your one set is broken.

    I just brought home my first oliver tractor. A 36 heart parr 70 on full steel. I am a huge fan of round spoke wheels and am looking to see what was available for these tractors and possibly locate some for sale. Doing a little searching it looks like EWC may have made some but im not sure...

    Farmall F-20/30 with add-on FWD

    That is a wide front F30 with a heavy cast front weight mounted to the front of the bolster/culticator mounts. I like the dual cane wheels on the back.

    10-20 no fire

    May still be firing when plug is installed but valves not seating due to rust or sticky valve guieds. How is compression? Maybe valve not seating well and causing it not to fire.

    If i remember correctly the oil pan with only two petcocks was 39’ and later. So the one with the third petcock would be correct for 38’ and older.

    Behlen Overdrive removal.

    Pretty sure once you thread the bolt into the adapter and it bottems out against the trans shaft you keep turning and it acts as its own gear puller pushing against the trans shaft pulling the adapter off. Somone who knows more about it will chime in soon.

    F20 36 wheels, rim compatability

    That depends on wich wheels your are talking about. I asume you are referring to the cast center wheels. And if so im sure you can find a modern rim that would work. Youd just have to rivet the lugs that mount the cast center to the rim. but i wont look the same not having the split rim ring on...

    That is correct. The combustion chamber on these heads is over 1” deep and the valves only open roughly 3/8” i think. There is quiet a bit of room in there.

    I thought about using a flat belt and another tractor to run the new engine for a bit before introducing spark and letting it fire. So that it would somewhat seat the rings and circulate oil really good throughout.

    Thanks for looking it up for me. I called Rice Equipment this afternoon and he said the same thing. I dont normaly luck into things like that. Must have been the two penneys i found heads up the other day. The tractor ought to pull pretty good with these pistons and we ground about 200...
