    Irv, You are the man. Success! When I pulled the shifter tower off, the rods that the forks are on are definitely were rusted up. See attached picture. Any suggestions as to how to free them up? Thanks, Bill

    Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Does your ratchet wrench have a flex head? How did they tighten these dang things 61 years ago? Must have had triple-jointed-fingered-assemblers.

    I'm doing some research on the possiblities of putting a 3-pt on my 1949 Co-op E3. The question from Saginaw Tractor Parts was if the E3 has a "six sided" axle housing. I'm not familiar with this, but as the axle is almost round end to end, my guess is "no". Any comments? Thanks
