    Motor oil for Farmall M

    Since non-detergent oil is hard to find. What is everybody using in their old Farmalls. I have a Farmall M that I use year around for snow removal, manure removal, and moving round bales. It has a dual 325 loader on it plus a grapple fork. In the winter it has a 1500 watt tank heater if needed.

    My brother gave me this rim, it measures 7 by 36 inches and made by Firestone and has 6 mounting lugs. I seen on a couple websites that offer 8 and 9 inch widths but no 7. They also say they can fit a Farmall A or C. Can somebody tell me what it probably fits. Enclosed are 3 photos. Thanks Bob

    rerouted fuel line on Ford 4000

    Enclosed is a picture of the rerouted fuel line on my Ford 4000. I covered it with a heat resistant sleeve and after mowing, raking, and moving bales this week in the 90+ heat, I had no issues. Thanks to Greg1959 for posting his picture earlier, it helped me. Thanks

    Has anybody rerouted the fuel line on a Ford 4000 gas tractor out there? I have to keep the tank full when it is hot or it vapor locks. You literally see bubbles in the small sediment bulb by the carburetor. I do not use ethanol. The fuel line runs from the tank next to the motor by the intake...

    I'm new to your discussion page, just registered this morning. I have a Ford 3 point sickle mower, model 501-1492. I'm replacing the pitman box, new bearings, seal, etc. I would like to know what grease should be used to pack those bearings.
