    2N wiring

    There is a resistor on the back side of the dash, when it is cold full current goes to the coil as it warms up from the current passing thru it limits voltage to the coil.

    Frustrating fuel issue...

    I had a 64 4000 that did the same thing, gravity flow no fuel pump, was told it could not be vapor lock (right) I re routed the fuel line away from the exhaust manifold and pretty much solved the problem.

    A putty knife works better than a screw driver.

    When I had a camper used one in the off months, had it hanging on the spare tire that faced South, it kept the batteries up no problem did not boil them out.

    Move that lever horizontal and the couplers can be pulled out, dummy plugs put in and then turn it back the way it was.

    Spark is Spark no matter the source, make sure the kill wire is not shorted, if not then time to look deeper.
