    There is a typical looking steel pole line not far from me that transports windwill power from Oklahoma to Memphis. I am pretty sure it is 500KV DC.     Probaly racing or marine. A modern pointless distributor is superior in nearly every way. You need the vacuum advance. Performance Distributors makes distributors right here in Memphis and sells them though Summit Racing and other places.
