1971 ford 2000 won’t start unless i push on distributor cap.
Perfect advice thank y’all i removed the cap and bent the rotor tab up just a hair and she started without touching the distributor cap. Thank y’all and i’ll keep the duct tape close just incase.- Bmcculloch

I have a 1971 ford 2000 and last year before winter i wouldn’t hesitate to plow half of america with it. I stored the tractor over winter and went to get tractor out of storage and all it did was crank over and have no spark.
