    I tried checking to see if the solenoid is grounded. I put the red probe of the multimeter to the positive battery terminal and the black probe to the body of the solenoid and I didn't see 12v. Could I run a wire from the battery negative terminal to the solenoid body? Could that work to ground...

    oil tube in tappet cover

    Hello, I bought a 300 utility tractor. I pulled off the tappet cover and saw what looked like some kind of breather. I also was viewing a rebuild video and they had an oil tube where my "breather" was. I'm wondering if mine is supposed to be this oil tube. Thanks
