    Thanks for pointing that out. I thought I ordered a belt for a industrial. . I ordered the wrong one.. I must be getting old.. WAIT!! I am old.. returning the belt and already ordered the correct one. my parts book verified your findings. thanks again

    guess I feel safer with a oem belt turning the fan for cooling while the Alternator puts a load on the belt to produce 35 amp. Im sure the segmated belt is like hard plastic. I just don't feel there would be any gripping action on the belt and cause slipping on the fan

    mine's a oe belt, 1/2 width & thick part # 843198M1 0.53125 inch thick - wide

    it's up against the axle frame now which gives 1/4" gap between the adapter & pulley

    thanks for the info. I already have the 3 bolts out of the adapter to pulley, there's no way to get to pump shaft to unscrew it. Im in process of removing the sheet metal now, have it loose, have someone coming Monday to help lift the side panels with the hood off. then I think I can gain access...

    Stuck in first gear.

    I have a 69 MF-20, I had same problem. mine had filled up with water from rain due to broken shifter boots. rusted the slides in the tranny. I had to remove the top cover and I drained the fluid and took Emory cloth and sanded down the rust off the sliding forks. then sprayed with wd-40, then...

    Thanks. same Diagram as in my parts manual., problem is, it does not tell me if #34 oem bolt tightens all way to #30 & 33. by the looks of the nuts on both sides of # 30 and no flat washers it tells me it may have to lock down on it. the OEM # 34 bolt has threads all way up to the head. if it...
