    Cluth in ta no differant than main clutch. The more you ride it the more slippage. Wore couple of them old ones and never replaced ta. Got 560 with 8000 hour run hard but still havent touched torque. tractor almost dead

    I always have ran hytran. mainly because had a barrel of it around. Just do yourself a favor and shift it like you mad at it. that way clutch disc in ta dont slip more than needed

    Depends on how sale is setup. Some sales you can bid till auctioneer says sold. There have been couple big sales locally that are internet bidding only. Personally, i like internet bidding. You can go in advance and look at item and dont have to waste time waiting for something to sell.

    Old parts of history getting scrapped

    Well over the years i accumulated lot of parts. after a while you get tired of seeing them and then they go to scrap. I know i scrapped stuff that shouldn't have been. but tired of seeing them.

    i saw that he had 10 under bearing and bet he should remeasure crank. As old as 560 is it probably been apart couple times

    take your finger behind of ih coupling and push the coupling towards you should come out about half inch. put the point in and then put lever towards you.

    Check safety switch on clutch. They can be a pain

    Try the five-gallon trick. Not splines in clutch if you had pto and steering. The pedal could be acting funny becayse it has a hydralic booster. Sounds like o ring on suction tube is leaking. Good luck

    if it was me i would put a oil pressure gauge on side of motor before throwing parts at it. How many hours does engine have on it? If high houred maybe drop pan and check bearings

    Been a while since seen 966. It not gonna suck air from hand pump because it sets lower than fuel tank. If primer pump was leaking it would leak fuel out on ground. Almost bet you have something in tank thus not getting fuel and running bad

    not sure what seller means. just want to use it for lite work around building. thought maybe just running it like that only drawback would be slow reverse. it about 100 miles away
