    No Snow

    Where I am at in UT, I should have it crotch deep in the field. NOT so...less than 8" Won't be much of a runoff here. On the flip side, I think the Midwest is poised for some flooding.

    OT/ Help - Plumbing prob!

    Went to one of the other bathrooms and found a small amount of water around the base of that toilet. Ah-ha...the plot thickens!! this toilet on same level I assume. So you probably do have blockage in the line to the tank, or so it seems, causing water from toilet #1 to back-up to toilet #2...

    Another thought...is this toilet at the lowest level in house? Are the others on upper floor? If so, your tank (and field) may be full.

    Ultradog.....Are you a LICENSED CONTRACTOR? My guess is NO. On the other hand, I am. I do not know of any tile underlayment manufacturer that states in their installation instructions to NOT use thinset under their product. Just the opposite. It is the approved method in the TCNA...

    Small PORTABLE Concrete Mixer.......

    Northern (and Lowes) sell the Kushlan mixer. I have one and it runs off a Honda 2000w genny. Neat part is you can wheel it to pour right where ya need it...as in no wheelbarrow. It is not a flimsy import, either. Easy to clean, big opening to get the mix in, AND, the wife can run it !!! you...

    olympics

    I was enthusiastic at first to watch it...but, NBC chose to shove swimming and gymnastics down our throats every nite. There are many many more events that they don't even cover.

    Off to a good start there. Radishes are making my mouth water. Butttt, what's with the decoys in that 1st pic? You askin for trouble? The deer are my nemesis 'roumd here. I have a 8' fence to keep em out.

    Howard rotovator

    I picked one up for $500 last year, think it's a 54". The N is too fast for new ground. I use it ona MF245. They are built tough. Easy maintenance. New tines are available.

    That sucks... Thawing water line...

    Have a pressure washer? I hooked up a long pex type tubing to mine, used hot water, and blasted through in a few minutes ! Might not work if ya have too many bends or elbows. Of course it makes a mess, but it's slicker than...well, no more frozen line

    O/T removing large rock

    What size drill bit? how deep can ya go ? Try drilling a 1" hole @ 30 degree angle on far side of rock, deeeeep. Then insert HEAVY rebar, attatch chain, pull out with PU truck. NOT tractor. Of course, nothing will remove it out of frozen ground, short of DynOmite.
