Ford 2N no spark
Running at last!! When the cap was off, the coil could tip enough to make contact, thus spark through as it should. When I put the cap on, it held the coil straight and stopped contact in the distributor, thus no spark to plug wires. I stretched the coil contact spring, so it could make...- bobelg46

No spark to plugs
My name is Harold and I have a 44 2N Ford front mount distributor set up according to service manual (.015 points) and still have no spark to the plugs. Using the bench check I have a strong spark at the coil, where it meets the cap without the cap on, at the coil where it meets the cap, but...- bobelg46
