    had a 1030 and same problem took inspection cover off tried oil first then later loosened clutch plate bolts anf took hammer and apiece of rolled rod and kept tapping and turning was loose in no time

    On a 706 I made a line up shaft put clutch on and tigthen up pulled it as clutch was centered then moved engine as we had motor on stands with wheels got spline started and then used all thread to help line motor and rearend and brought it together. on 656 clutch and shaft were smaller sowe...

    engine seizes when I tighten the rear main bearing

    My son had this problem when he was a teenager and i was making sure he was doing ok same problem I told him to take insert out and check back sure enoughthere was a speck of dirt cleaned and it worked
