    Thanks for the input, sounds like the whole replacement engine idea is a bust. As far as rebuilding it, and assuming it's just a spun bearing, what would you say is a realistic price for having it rebuilt?

    Need to borrow some knowledge! Need to replace the front crank seal in the timing cover on a VAC. Can this be done with the cover still on? Aka..drill hole in seal, put in screw, pry out or use a slide hammer ( I modified one with a drill chuck on the end). Appreciate all who take the time to...
