    I have a very obvious high idle set screw, but there is nothing for the low idle anywhere. So, I guess this is internal somehow? It’s a 3505DI and the pump says Mico Bosch 25 and a lot of other numbers on the tag. I’d like to kick the idle up to spec around 750 as it’s a hair low just no screw...

    Yeah. My FIL used the tractor a lot when he set it up. I am a bit concerned with the 'ease' in which I can turn over the motor by grasping the fan blade. It does not have that 'resistance' or 'pop' feel as a motor with compression would. We'll see when I get it cleaned up and a leak down...

    I don't know if I can use it at all. The machine has been sitting for 20 years with a gas tank that has a hole in the top. Fluids look OK, but it is like any old neglected machine. I want to check the motor out, if it's shot, it's worth more as scrap.

    Lost my throttle control - Farmall A

    OK, so i checked everything out and it looks like the throttle plate on the carburetor was just hung up. There is a black wire that goes to the generator that runs near that area and it must have gotten stuck. Also the machine sat for a long time.

    Thanks! Let me check the carburetor first and then I'll go from there. Are those two pages all I need to follow to take the governor off to service should it in fact need a spring? Also, what manual is that, I think I will go ahead and get my own.
