    the speed increase will depend on your gearing. as far as what would be better, taller tires will almost always win.

    I see on tractor data that these models were rated 147 HP while the nearest other model with 354 was rated 130. anybody know what was special on these?

    CAT rod bearings

    The journal size is 3.25 the bearing OD is 3.593 but 3.5 would work for our motor. we need 3 .020 under would be fantastic. we are looking for bearings this dimension for a project and found these in an old Federal Mogul book

    from what i gather, the 1105 is a good tractor but 15k sounds awful salty. around here you can pick up a running IH 966 for $6500-9500, which is a comparable tractor.

    Looking forward to having the terminator back out there. Always enjoyed pulling that sled. Have you ever tried getting ahold of poor boys?
