    Super C Upper Radiator Hose Replacement

    I used a plumbing Fernco from my local building or plumbing supply. It was the right diameter and length and comes with hose clamps. They come in standard sizes, I think 2 inch inside was right. Some say they are not rated for that heat, but I've had mine on for a few years with no problems...

    got my stuck piston and sleeve out

    1930 L stuck piston and sleeve out finally! I can almost turn engine 360 with fan blade, still some rust. I will monkey with the piston myself before taking it to someone to press out.

    After 5 or 6 months of soaking with different formulas and tapping with little hammer, three cylinders free. The other one I got a little more aggressive with. After fire and bigger hammer, the sleeve started to rise out of block with piston. Any advice, what next? Brian

    super c remote valve

    I have a 53 super c that is leaking fluid at the seal of the remote valve to the fast hitch. I tried replacing the seal with a standard round o-ring that seemed to fit, but it still leaks, mostly when tractor is off. My question being will a standard o-ring work or is it a special size or shape...

    1 wire alternator

    I just installed a new 1 wire aternator on my super c. How can I test it? Should it be grounded other than the mount, and how many rpms should excite it. And once excited will it show charge back at idle speed. Thank you for the help. Brian

    distributor plug?

    thank you for the information. Interesting that there aren't fittings where there should be. I wonder when these parts were last lubricated? Brian

    I am not sure what the plugs ( about 3/8 flat head screw ) in the distributor and govenor are for in my super c. Can anyone help. Brian.
