    Massey 35 Combine

My dad and I attended an auction south of Sedalia, MO back in May to watch some A-C items sell. This cute little MF 35 combine caught my eye, so I decided to take a few pictures. It looks larger in the picture then it actually is. I"m not sure what the market is for these machines, but I...

Tom, I looked at that D with the factory Eagle Hitch and it does have curved arms that look almost the same as DC arms, but definitely are not the same. Hope this helps you. Don

    5020, 6030, 7520 comparisons

Humor me...what are ideas about traction, pulling H.P. on these tractors...I have a 5020 with turbo at 175H.P., weighing about 24,000 lbs. Its pulls good. How would a 6030 and a 7520 compare? I have seen 6030's outpull 8430's easily at tractor pulls...but in a field of plowed ground the 4wd has...

I checked the D14 tonight and it has the Norden axle.

    WD unusual wide front end.

Sounds like a Schwartz aftermarket wide front. We have a couple WD"s with the Schwartz, and also recently found a D14 with a wide front of VERY similar design. I thought it was a Schwartz also until checking the mfg tag. I can"t recall the name at the moment though...

    Gleaner P80 Roll Call

Lonn, you need to snap some pictures of your brother's P80 sometime. I remember you mentioning that one in a previous thread. What's the history on that one? Was it a local find? Joe, keep us posted. Hope it works out. The story behind the orange paint would be interesting. I wonder if a...

    Gleaner P80 Roll Call

Do we have any Gleaner P80 owners here? It would be nice to find one for the collection at some point, but you don"t see these critters come up for sale very often. I personally know of one unit first hand. Due to the limited production numbers, I would put these in the rare category. Even...

Pics- The Oldest Gleaner SP Combine Still In Use???

Blaine, thanks for the pics. Speaking of early SP units, Dad has a 1952 Model A (52A-4074) that he purchased from the original owner in the late 1970's. We haven't ran it since the mid 1990's, but were just saying the other day that we need to fire it up again. You don"t see many of the...

    D15/i600 G160 eng HP

The industrial tractors were rated using engine HP instead of PTO or Belt HP on the ag tractors. That is the reason you"re seeing the different ratings. My I-600 brochure lists engine HP at 56.8, compared to 46.18 PTO HP for the D15 II. As Dave said, they are the same engine.

    Gleaner Engines

The early Gleaner F combines used the G262 engine, not the G230. The G262 was used in the D19, but used a larger carburetor in the F application (Zenith 62AJ12).
