    Bought a compact tractor on c/l and the guy threw in some stuff he wanted to get rid of. I have no idea what this is. The only lettering I see says "not for lifting". Thanks Brian

    What to do with my 400?

    billyar, I don't know for sure where the water is coming from. It has been sitting outside, it has a rain cap and I usually remember to put a coffee can on as well. I have decided to move it, got it loaded on the trailer. I'll work on it when I get time.

    Thanks for the replies. She started in MN and I moved her to CA. This move is only about 30 miles down the road. I agree that parting out is probably the best thing to do in the long run. I just don't want it to go to scrap.

    Hyd control help.

    The control valve for my "top and tip" is leaking. Does anyone know what kind this is or where I can find a replacement piece? It leaks out what appears to be a screen in the center of the plug. There are 2 other ones that don't leak. Thanks Brian

    How do you tell the difference? My oil looks like milk. After the head gasket change, it ran for 3 or 4 hours and still had nice clean oil. It sat for a few days, one of which it rained, and then ran for about an hour before the oil turned to milk.

    Matt, can you explain what needed to be replaced? My 400 is still getting water in the oil after a head resurfacing and new head gasket. Trying to figure out where it's coming from. Thanks Brian
