    Yeah, It's Me Again O/T

Allan....I wish I knew just half of what you know about fixing things. It sure comes in handy when you can repair your own stuff. Not only the cost issues, but the satisfaction of independence and getting things done when you want. Brian

    Brakes on Ford 4600

Is there an external adjustment to control the travel of the brake pedals on a 4600? The left one sometimes gets caught on the foot plate since it goes so far. The brakes work good...its just that the pedals seem to travel too far down. Thanks.

    Backhoe search

I would like to get a backhoe for minor things around the farm-no major digging- but I sure don't want a lot of expensive repairs. Now, here's the hard part: how much will I need to spend for an older and somewhat reliable BH. I'm thinking $10K-$15K should get something decent. Some guys say it...

I keep breaking pitman arm (see pic)

Yes.......I think I may have been. Not too much more but I thought the lower gound speed and higher RPM would help. I assume this is not the right way to go.

    Found Truck Need Advice (Picts)

$2500 would be enough......if the body was good. then $3500. And its too old to get that much body work done. You would never get your money out of it.

    Loader creeps down

My Massey 35 gas has a Freeman 3000 loader on it that I use to do mostly light work like carrying stones or moving a little dirt. But lately the bucket and the loader will creep down with a load in it.....will do the same thing when empty, but will take longer. The fluid is OK and the cylinders...
