    OK, I will try to take off the rear block. How do you loosen it? Tried a rubber hammer but not budging.

    I took two soft plugs out of the blocks yesterday, one from each side of the block. One plug my punch went right through, it was badly corroded. I will attach a photo of it. Wondering what condition the other soft plugs are in? They are not accessible unless i remove a block... thoughts? Had...

    I am getting back to work on cleaning up the rust now in the blocks. I am thinking about removing the soft plugs in the blocks to get more rust out. Are new soft plugs available? Or is this a bad idea?

    Ok, I had a new core put in the rad so it's ready to go. I haven't looked at the water pump. I could take it off to clean any rust?

    I am attaching a photo of one of the heads now that it has most of the rust out. Also will need new head gaskets. Where do you order gaskets from? Thanks, Bill.

    I agree. I kept turning the heads over and using air and just when you think that must be all the rust then more comes out! I think I have it pretty clean now.

    I agree with Allan K, "that rust used to be head material". My hope is to get this tractor running again only as a show tractor, no heavy pulling. Thanks, Bill.

    The block is in the same condition. Would it be OK to take off the water pump and try flushing the block out? I've just used air and a wire so far to loosen things up. Thanks.

    I have a MM UTS that has lot of scale and rust inside the heads. I would like to find a way to clean it out if possible. Also the block is likely in the same condition. I will attach two pictures to show the amount of scale and rust that has come out so far. Thanks for any help, Bill.
