    JD 2510 diesel engine

    Also the 202 block was cracked and had been for years . I repaired the crack successfully. However the pitting was too bad in the oring area to repair. This was the design with one oring groove in the block.

    I had the rear plate from the 202 bored to accept the new seal and did away with the rear main mechanical seal .

    I just did a 202 to 219 swap if you have any questions. I know this is an old post but it is not exactly a plug and play . I would be glad to talk about it .
