Remote valve spool end
Thank you to everyone for the replies. This valve came with the spool broken when the tractor was purchased, so the end is long gone. It will probably be worth taking to a good shop to see if they could cut the remaining end off and fab a new one to weld on. I'm not sure what that would cost... -

Remote valve spool end
My neighbor has a 5000 with a dual spool remote. One of the spool ends is broken off at the hole in the flat machined spot where the pin from the handle attaches it to the spool. I have looked at all of the diagrams I can find, but I do not see a separate part number for the spool end. It just... -

Alternator w/tach drive conversion
UD or Destroked, I have a later block 3 cylinder 4000 I would like to change the tach drive to an oil pump drive as well. I have never been clear if the oil and water temperature senders I have now will work with a 4600 instrument panel. Having to drill and tap the existing sending unit holes... -

Do you bypass the fuel pump with a zenith???
I just put a Zenith on a 1968 4000, fuel pump was left intact. Tractor is running like a champ. -

MF 271X block heater
Can anyone post a picture of a 271X with a block heater installed? Engine appears to be a Perkins 1004.40. I found application guides saying you could put a 1.5" on the right side or a 1.25" on the left. I knocked out a 1.5" plug on the right side that ended up not being in the water...- brt963
