    Farmall M governor

Thanks for the info on the swap. Everything on the rod seems to be free and not sticking might try to swap the gears and governor to see if there is any difference. Being from Canada it's sometimes tough getting parts just wondering if you have had any luck with Messicks would like to rebuild...

    Farmall M governor

I have a 1948 m that takes a few seconds to throttle down after you move the lever. Looks like there is quite a bit of movement on internal shaft and bearing. I have another governor off a 1942 h parts tractor that looks quite a bit tighter internally and was wondering if they would be able...

    MD Fuel priming issues

Hey guys got a chance to look in the pump today and i'm a little confused on how the rack works. Looking in the oil fill hole there are two bolts on the left that are moving freely with the throttle and one single bolt with a lock nut on the right that looks like an adjustment. Is that bolt...

    MD Fuel priming issues

Thanks for that will try that when i get back to it. I did unhook the linkage and it moved but was a little stiff. Is it a little risky to squirt a little penetrant down the injector tops at the top of that picture?

The tractor sat with fuel in the tank filters looked good no rust or black goo. Will try the throttle with the linkage disconnected seemed to move ok with linkage hooked up. Will be back at the shop in a couple days

    MD Fuel priming issues

Ya it's the water trap behind the pump can get fuel to that bleed screw but can't get fuel to the primary filter. Have been trying just the way you described. Tractor has sat for over 5 years have replaced fuel filters and i'm sure it went together correctly. Thanks for the input guys might have...
