Dealer says the kit is no longer available. Same with the individual parts. If anyone has a used handle or parts, please let me know.

John Deere 350 Straight - My Emotional Support Bulldozer...

Thanks for the input. Any idea how much a new one 6 way control sells for? Scott Thanks for checking on that! I need to stop by my dealer this morning to pick up a few more gallons of Hy-Gard. I'll see if I can get a price on that. Thanks again, Scott

John Deere 350 Straight - My Emotional Support Bulldozer...

So, the dozer has several issues that need to be addressed. First, it would die after running for a few minutes, but if you waited, you could start it back up. Second, the track tensioner on the left side is stuck fully extended and won't release. Third, the clutch pedal return spring is broken...

John Deere 350 Straight - My Emotional Support Bulldozer...

I have had some trials and tribulations (read: fiascoes) in my attempt to find a reasonably priced dozer here in Texas. I looked at a lot of junk, turned wrenches on several machines, and even ended up with a running and operating 20 ton Cat that I got for free (and it was worth exactly what I...

    Cornhead grease/oil

I have the operators manual; skimmed it, but need to read throughly. I'll get some grade 0 cornhead grease. I have the special (read: $$$) Alemite low pressure grease gun on the way, along with a button head adapter. I'm going with Hy Gard/J20C for the hydraulics, reverser, and transmission...

    Cornhead grease/oil

There are two flavors of cornhead grease from JD - grade 0 and grade 00. I'm in Texas; I'm thinking I need grade 0 (thicker) for my John Deere 350 Straight dozer rollers. Any thoughts? Thanks, Scott

    JD 350 crawler Stalls out

Had the same issue with my 350 Straight. I figured it was an injection pump issue, but when I pulled the cap off, it was clean inside. As someone else mentioned, the fuel cutoff valve under the seat has very small holes for fuel to flow, and mine was almost completely plugged up.

Roosa Master D Series Pump - Recommendation on Rebuilder?

I have a JD 350 Straight dozer; 1967 model. Pretty sure the DBG injection pump needs a rebuild because of the governor damper ring/flex ring disintegrating. Symptoms - will run for a few minutes and then die; will start back up and run for a few more minutes if you let it sit for a minute or...

Thinking About Buying a John Deere 450 Straight Dozer - 1967

Ok, I was expecting to have two brake pedals. Thanks for the clarification. If/when I end up with one of these machines, I'll certainly load up on all available manuals. There's a 450C nearby that I may need to look at again. It's not running, but I remember it having good bones. It does...

Thinking About Buying a John Deere 450 Straight Dozer - 1967

Shifter on the floor right in front of the seat shifted into high, low, neutral, and reverse. On the left side of the seat was the shifter for 1st - 4th gears.

Thinking About Buying a John Deere 450 Straight Dozer - 1967

I've heard of him before and I'm pretty sure I've watched some of his content. I'll have to search him up again. I am definitely a Caterpillar fan; my great uncle ran Cat dozers until he was 90, and he was still running one until 2 days before he died. I hear you on the 3 to make 1. That's...
