    Had the same issue with my 350 Straight. I figured it was an injection pump issue, but when I pulled the cap off, it was clean inside. As someone else mentioned, the fuel cutoff valve under the seat has very small holes for fuel to flow, and mine was almost completely plugged up.

    Shifter on the floor right in front of the seat shifted into high, low, neutral, and reverse. On the left side of the seat was the shifter for 1st - 4th gears.
