    It’s made by reliance and is a metal and metal on both sides or a sandwich. Metal gasket . The head is new and block was resurfaced. They dial it was in good shape.

    Removing studs on a farmall 400

    I got them all out , used a stud pull, broke three of them then moved up to a pipe wrench. That worked the best but the studs are junk after removed. The heating and soaking with penetrate works great. Thanks for all help..

    Well it’s my pulling tractor and I want it cleaned up . If you look close you will see where they used a pail of gasket sealer on it. Why? I want to do it right.. what you say is correct if it was just a runner
