    I was looking at a 4 bottom 14 inch semi mounted plow today and the only thing I could find on it was National.     new year

    Steeing box lube ???

    While I am a CIH person, I do like the John Deere corn head grease better for steering gear boxes. It levels out better and gears look like they have a better coating on them if you take the cap off. Nobody will see the green color of it on a red tractor anyway.

    Photo Ads

    This morning I was going through the tractor section of the photo ads and there was a for sale ad for a 2008 Honda Goldwing with a trike kit on it for 10800. I cant seem to find the ad now. Does anybody else remember seeing it?

    Slick trailer

    I used the old belts off of a big round baler. JD I think. Worked great.

    Square tooth throttle question

    You can get the square tooth new, both oem and aftermarket. Then you might have to take the handle portion off and put in a stiffer spring. Having somebody to help put the cotter key in while you compress the spring is a big help.

    O/T: log splitter advice

    The last one I bought new had a Briggs on it, and the owners manual for the motor said to use 5w-30 full synthetic oil in cold temperatures. Never had any trouble starting it and it set outside all of the time. Sold it about 3 years ago and it is still running very well.

    Got the head off of my c291 and found each cylinder stamped with either a A, B, C, or D. This I am told is the size of the block bore. Can anybody tell me what the actual measurement for each letter should be? My local dealer hasnt been much help and was wondering if somebody had the...
