    It is a Sherman step up system. I pulled it out. The only issue is when pulling out the box one of the posts snapped off. No im not sure if when I reinstall it be stable enough. Great. I don’t see any teeth missing etc. curious as to why I didn’t see a difference. Unless it was user error

    I keep trying to post pictures but it just doesn’t load them. I’ve got a bunch of pictures.it gets to 32% and stalls out I do feel it shifting I believe

    Ok the people have spoken I will keep it in. Do I just crack it open and check the teeth etc ? What am I looking for - I’m wondering if maybe I just didn’t use it right or shift it right? I thought you just put it in gear. Should have learned more about it before.

    The only implement I use are things like slip scoop, blade, boom, drag, maybe a plow every once annd a while etc. I don’t make any hay or anything like that. I use a bush hog every once in a while.

    I’m never going to sell this tractor it’ll be an heirloom for sure. I’ll take a peak and see if I can figure out to fix it or just replace it

    I guess I wouldn’t even know what to use it for and as of now it’s just a normal gear anyway haha I’m replacing the rear seal so I’ll have to decide if I want to try to mess with it or just replace it. Why can’t I post pics?

    I just really don’t have any use for it. I mainly use this for snow plows, drag logs etc. I haven’t used it yet so would rather get the stick out of my way

    Got a 1951 to30 split and I see it has a high low gear of sorts. It’s doesn’t work and I’d rather just take it out and seal up the hole. Does anyone have any idea on what type of gear this is and has anyone taken one out? Do I need a different trans? Any info would be helpful! I have pics but...
