    Yes, you are correct. After looking again at the photos of the tractor that I saw for sale, it still has the same hydraulic control levers that were on the tractors with the touch control unit. Thanks.

    Looking at the diagram you posted, it seems to show a separate control rod for each valve. I will find another photo of the tractor to see if I can see a second control rod.

    It's in Dobson, NC. Price is $1,200 for it and the Farmall M tractor.

    As far as I can tell, it doesn't have a device to dig anything out of the ground. It has a horizontal auger looking thing that runs along the ground and a conveyor shoot going back over the tractor that resembles a corn picker conveyor shoot.

    No, it doesn't have a fast hitch. If it did, I assume that would make the job a lot easier.

    I have a control lever to plumb in (I assume that is what you are calling a valve). Sounds like this may be more than I want to tackle. I will do some more research. Thanks for the replies.

    Farmall Model 230 Tractor Touch Control?

    Did some of the Model 230 tractors still have the old-style touch control units with the rock shafts? I have been looking at one that is for sale which has a different hydraulic system.

    Does anyone have a source for a fuel injection pump or know of a company that rebuilds them? My friend that needs it says that he has checked with a dealer and was told they can't get them.
