870 tight engine?? trans??
It is a power shift and thought about trying 2nd gear to see if it still gets tight. There isn't any noises just starts pulling like something is getting tight. Just seems like if it is a bearing then it wouldn't start right up after it dies, I would think it would need to cool for a bit and...- C Days

60psi oil pressure. Looking back, I agree but taking off the caps that I did and they all looking good I decided not to take the rest off. I would think that if the bearing are getting hot and seizing up then it wouldn't start right up like it does. I may need to drop the pan again if I...- C Days

I am looking for some ideas of what might be wrong with my 870 Black Knight. Mowing hay this spring it started making noise and then locked up on me. after tear into it, I found the balancer bearing went out.
