    JD round baler

    Having a problem with a 459 and a 450M round baler getting pin holes in hydraulic hoses from tractor to the tension control valve on baler. Any ideas as to what could be causing this to happen. Thanks in advance

    JD 935 va. 946 moco

    If you have any rocks, do not even consider the 935. It is a cast iron cutterbar and will crack very easily. Also harder to work on if service is needed on .the internals of a segment

    The chart in the book is only a guide. The monitor is usually very close to correct. If you want to know the actual population run some on a surface you can count the seeds. If thirty inch rows, counting the seed in 17 1/2 feet will give you the thousands of seeds per acre that the planter is...

    Check hydralic cylinders for internal leaks. If they do not leak it is probably the high pressure relief valve in the square tension block.

    If sensor is adjusted properly, spring on trip flap may be weak or the rod of the trip may need oiled to move freely. And yes if the net going in does not hit the trip because it is to the left to far, the switch does not send the message to the monitor. Buy or make plugs to put in the ends of...

    I usually bale at 500-510 pto rpm. I have tried faster and slower. With this short hay, I have tried 8-9 mph. It is six weeks since first cut and height of grass is what it is, about 10-12 inches tall.
