    Thanks for all the replies. I had planned to use the majic because it's what the local TSC carries. I have no experience painting anything so this 8n restoration has been a huge learning experience. My garage is attached to the house and I didn't really think about vapors entering the house...

    I didn't have any issue with coolant in the oil. But combined with the fact that I can't get the intake valve seats out convinced me to find a new block. I'd much rather spend the money and feel good about it. This is the first engine I've ever rebuilt and I've got too much in it to start...

    I found this old pic of my dad on his grampas tractor. The picture was taken sometime in the 50's in Oklahoma. My dad passed away in 1989 and I've always wondered what year case tractor might be. Any ideas?
